From assessment to goal achievement our Black Belts and Master Black Belts are experts in the DMAIC and DFSS Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
The Tactegra Process Improvement and Design competency is grounded in the Lean Six Sigma (LSS) methodology. Our approach to Lean Six Sigma originates in the lean manufacturing principles of the Toyota Production System and Motorola’s Quality Initiative. Tactegra Black and Master Black Belts are experts in the application of:
✓ D.M.A.I.C. for existing processes
✓ D.M.A.D.V. (Design for Six Sigma or DFSS) for designing new processes.
Lean focuses on elimination of waste, or non-value-added activities, and Six Sigma focuses on process variability reduction. Lean Six sigma can be considered a merging of both, where non-value-added activities are eliminated along with variability.
Tactegra Black and Master Black Belts have found success in applying this blend of the tried and proven methodologies, and that effort led to an Innovation Award by the USPS. We have worked across the manufacturing and service industries in the private sector, and recently established a deliberate effort to expand to agencies in the public sector. Our primary objective is helping our clients improve the capability and performance expectations of their business processes as measured by key performance indicators, ensuring optimal quality in their products and services.
PROCESS IMPROVEMENT
- Define – Define problem
- Measure – Baseline process current state
- Analyze – Perform root cause analysis
- Improve – Implement process improvement
- Control – Plan to sustain process improvement
PROCESS DESIGN
- Define – Define process goals
- Measure – Identify critical process characteristics
- Analyze – Validate design specs/requirements
- Design – Test new process design
- Verify – Ensure process achieve desired standard
Whether improving, designing, and deploying processes or driving strategies to simplify, standardize, or transform our client’s business process ecosystem, Tactegra Black and Master Black Belts are experts in the application of D.M.A.I.C. for existing processes and D.M.A.D.V. (Design for Six Sigma or DFSS) for designing new processes.
