The Whole Health Director's Office enlisted Tactegra's help to integrate the new Whole Health approach into the existing PACT care delivery model, with the goal of improving the holistic health of veterans and reducing overall health risks and conditions.
However, Tactegra discovered that the PACT teams were ill-prepared for the change and lacked an effective understanding of how to introduce Whole Health to the veteran community. To address this, Tactegra worked with both teams to design an Integration Pilot, coupled with a comprehensive Change Management plan.
After just two weeks, the pilot program led to a 27% increase in veterans' awareness of Whole Health, and the Nebraska-Western Iowa Healthcare System's Whole Health team adopted the model for all veterans receiving care in the region. This success underscores the critical importance of effective change management when implementing innovative healthcare delivery approaches.
